Under the attentive direction and leadership of Mr. Jerry Davis, (WSI certified), Coach Jerry as he is known by his students, seeks to improve athletic performance of swimmers of all ages and abilities. By integrating a combination of basic instructional training principles with the science of stroke mechanics to give participants the strength and fitness to propel their bodies through the water in more efficient ways, has provided Coach Jerry secret to his success.
The workouts will enhance participant’s physical conditioning and technical proficiency leading towards a developmental competitive age-group swim team. Partnering with small businesses, organizations and parents alike, will ensure favorable outcomes.
Teaching students of all ages with extreme cases of aqua-phobia (TNS- terrified non-swimmer) is Coach Jerry's specialty. No case is too difficult. An Aquatics Specialist... Brookland Swim Academy, is a Division of Martial Sports Club, LLC, a District of Columbia sports-fitness, personal and hydro-training corporation founded in 2012. Our aquatics division provide an array of water related training and hydro-fitness programs for all ages and abilities, catering to families. Programs are offered in the areas of hydro-personal training, water exercise, hydro-rehab, swimming and Learn-to-Swim instruction.
Brookland Swim Academy, is an organized, year-round aquatics program designed for those who want to achieve a higher level of swim fitness, provides opportunities for self-improvement in physical conditioning and stroke development with a focus to prepare participants for more advanced activities to include readiness for age-group swim clubs.
Our Learn-to-Swim Program's goal is to enhance and sharpen the swim proficiency in all four of the competitive strokes and I.M. of participants within a structured swim training program.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that ten people in the United States die each day from accidental drowning. Of these drowning victims, two are aged two to fourteen. Martial Sports Club and the Brookland Swim Academy is dedicated and hard at work to help decrease the number of accidental drowning deaths in our communities.
Your contributions provide scholarships for children who for whatever the reason, have not learned to swim, by subsidizing the cost of swimming lessons for families unable to afford registration fees and related expenses.
